This Ph.D. is a noted author, technologist, educator, product developer, consultant, patent analyst and expert witness specializing in mobile, cellular, networks, phones,standards, hardware and software systems. As a chief architect and technology manager for major telecommunications, consulting firms and various technology start-ups, he has been responsible for the planning, design, development, sales and marketing of numerous next generation private and public companies.  He is currently a principal and founder of a consulting firm, in addition to an Adjunct Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University in Houston, Texas, USA. 

His professional activities and services have focused on mobile, cellular, wireless, embedded computing, software and hardware systems. In these fields, he has authored numerous peer reviewed publications,reports and books on emerging technologies and markets.  He has taught Ph.D. candidate- level university curriculum on these subject matters. He also served as a plaintiff and defendant expert witness on a wide spectrum of civil and business matters/litigations involving such technologies.  As a business and market consulting, he has assisted clients in developing new technologies, evaluating market opportunities and developing plans to capture them.  As a patent analyst, he has assisted many leading law firms and corporate clients in defending against or asserting claims of patent infringement and patent validity.  This patent work has encompassed claims,validity, invalidity, infringement and non-infringement analysis:  technical review and analysis of patent claims, preparation of claim charts and validity and infringement opinions and portfolio analysis.
