He formed and has acted as President of a consulting firm assisting plastic product manufacturers and plastic piping asset owners. His background includes more than 19 years of professional experience including additive stabilization of polymers, interaction of chemicals with plastics, extrusion production of plastic pipe, plastic pipe material technical service and plastic pipe system component testing. He holds several United States patents and has published several technical papers as well as a technical standard for ASTM International. End use applications encompassed in his expertise include corrugated plastic pipe, water distribution and plumbing systems, oil and gas production, plastic gas pipe, and conduit. He has participated in several industry organizations including API, SPE, PPI, CSA, AGA, AWWA and ASME and is currently the chair of ASTM F17.61 Subcommittee on Water Piping Systems.
