This expert witness has particular expertise in hospital operations with a focus on operating rooms, surgical services and ambulatory centers.  Her BSN credentials are complemented by clinical and corporate healthcare industry experience.  Over the past 16 years, she has been involved with over 70 hospitals conducting regulatory and procedural evaluations.  She has evaluated procedures and services in the following departments:  Operating Room, Recovery Room, Pre-Admissions Screening Unit, Pre-Op Holding Units, Gastrointestinal Labs, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Central and Sterile Supply Departments, Labor and Delivery, Post-Op Surgical Nursing Units, Out-Patient Surgery Units, and Same-Day Surgery Units.   She is brought in to make recommendations to hospitals regarding changes or improvements to their existing departmental process and\\or procedures.  She has also directed the efforts for the implementation of these hospital departmental changes.
