Professional Summary:

This Expert Witness is a Professional Engineer with 30 years of industry experience in the engine emissions reduction, alternative fuels and vehicle component industries.  He has taught automotive technology courses as an adjunct instructor at a New York City community college.  His career began at Pratt & Whitney Division of United Technologies Corp. and continued at Mechanical Technology Inc., where he was involved as a Project Manager for a NASA sponsored Automotive Stirling Engine (ASE) group.  He then moved to Deere & Co.’s Rotary Engine Division developing a large size, modular natural gas rotary engine for stationary uses.  While working fora Washington, DC based consultancy (EA Engineering and Technology), he was the onsite manager for several demonstration projects under the NYSERDA funded Alternative Fuel Vehicle – Fleet Demonstration Project gaining experience with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and alcohol facilities, vehicles and safety. He wrote a pamphlet “Garage Guidelines for Alternative Fuels” for NYSERDA that was adopted by the US Dept of Energy.  After forming his own consultancy, he worked as a team member with other consultancies on several alternative fuel/hybrid vehicle evaluations and on planning alternative fuel equipment for truck stops. More recently, he evaluated and selected tactics to reduce greenhouse gases for the Hunts Point, Bronx, NY local delivery fleets funded by a grant from the NYC DOT.  Currently, his firm is selling equipment for the truck industry that achieves these goals.
