This Ph.D. has over 25 years of experience as a researcher, R&D manager, and independent consultant in the telecommunications industry, converting several research ideas into commercial products. His contributions have been in the areas of algorithms, architectures, technologies and protocols for high-speed routers, ATM switches, IP networks, Internet security and tactical networks. He has been recognized as IEEE Fellow and Bell Labs Fellow for his contributions to Internet infrastructure technologies.
