This Ph.D. has made technical and business contributions since 1987 in the areas of medical devices, imaging, signal processing, consumer electronics, clean-tech, biometric security, and electrical power delivery.  He has worked for industry leaders such as GE and Siemens, as well as several start-ups. He taught electrical engineering at the University of Illinois, and has been consulting for clients in the US and Asia since 2012.

With 22 US patents issued and several pending, he frequently provides IP development and analysis to corporate management and law firms.  Several years of experience on the Patent Committee of a large business has proved helpful in advising on IP strategy and licensing deals.

His engineering experience includes medical device development, and regulatory work preparing FDA CDRH submissions.
