This Ph.D. has performed substantial research over the past 25 years with over 140 peer-reviewed research publications.  His research topics include (a) touch input on touchpads and touchscreens, (b) stylus input on graphics tablets and contact-sensing displays, and (c) user interfaces for mobile devices such as phones, tablets,and PDAs (e.g., text entry, design of soft keyboards).  He is a member of the ACM and the ACM's SIGCHI (Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction) since 1991.  This Expert holds academic appointments at two universities spanning 22 years, with substantial research funding and supervision of M.Sc. and Ph.D. students.  He has prior litigation experience in five patent infringement cases dating to 1996, with related work that includes code analysis, prior art analysis, preparing experts reports, depositions, and testifying in court.
