This Ph.D has been working in telecommunications for over 26 years.  He started his career in Europe, where he worked on effective coding of digital information for various types of communications channels.  During the last twenty years, he has held engineering and management positions in Bell System companies.  His responsibilities included the analysis of technical and economical solutions for broadband optical networks in support of product planning and development.  He has worked on the design and implementation of major carrier networks and the design and planning of SONET network elements for long haul transmission. He has published many technical papers and holds a number of patents. 

His practical experience combined with an extensive academic background has given him a deep technical understanding of telecommunications technologies, such as SONET, SDH, DWDM, ATM, Ethernet, satellites, and terrestrial transmission.  He is an experienced litigation support consultant with experience in patent infringement matters.
