As an expert witness he has been engaged in over 30 IP-related litigations as a patent expert on issues such as infringement and validity, royalties, licensing issues, willful infringement and inequitable conduct. He has also served as an expert on trade secret, copyright, patent design and trademark issues. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants about equally. He has been deposed over 25 times and testified at five trials, with two more trials scheduled for May and June 2009.
