This expert witness is an information security expert with over twenty-five years of experience. He has extensive knowledge of many security related standards and products, including those based on XML security, Kerberos and public-key cryptography. He is a former member of the OASIS Security Services Technical Committee and a contributor to the Security Assertion Markup Language ( SAML ).  He is co-holder of six patents in the field of information security, and co-applicant for seven pending patent applications. Additionally, he is a senior member of faculty at a major University's department of Engineering, Information Systems and Technical Management, where he teaches classes in Information Protection through Cryptography, PKI, LDAP, XML security and Java security.
