This Ph.D. is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at a major university, where he actively publishes research on consumer electronics.  Before that, he managed a design team at Scientific-Atlanta (now a division of Cisco).  His team explored new technologies (including a coaxial networking system that won an Engineering and Technology Emmy® Award) and designed several set-top boxes that went into high-volume mass production.

This expert has authored nearly 50 U.S. patent applications of which 24 have issued.  In addition, he has served as an expert witness in three high-profile patent cases, including Apple v. Samsung at the ITC.  He has been a witness for both plaintiff and defendant, and has testified in court, given depositions, and prepared several expert reports on infringement and validity.

In addition to preparing and giving lectures, he has received media training and is an excellent communicator and teacher.
