This Ph.D. is a professor of Computer Science at a major University, where he teaches and conducts research in computer vision, human-computer interaction, and innovative interface technologies.  He is also Chair of the Media Arts Technology Program, where the focus is on research in imaging, interaction, and innovative interfaces.  He has worked on computer vision technologies for Microsoft Corp., Teleos Research, and Martin Marietta Aerospace.  His Ph.D. is from the Media Laboratory at MIT.  He has founded and organized several professional conferences and workshops, and is the chair-elect of the International Conference on Multimodal Interfaces.  He is on the editorial board of the Image and Vision Computing Journal and is the chair-elect of the International Conference on Multimodal Interfaces.
