This Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of a company that promotes computer modeling of reactive flows.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego where she conducted research in chemical kinetics with Forman A. Williams, a pioneer in the field of combustion and the author of Combustion Theory book.

After receiving her doctorate, she went to work in industry as a development engineer, working on the CHEMKIN software package. She then transitioned from the research and development group to sales and marketing, where she was the go-to technical person for the company's customers and distributors.

She has created and taught courses on the computer simulation of reactive flows and trained professionals all over the globe, including the USA, Canada, China, Japan and Germany. She has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and has presented technical talks at conferences such as International Symposium on Combustion, ASME Turbo Expo, and AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit.
