This Ph.D. has over 30 years of experience making personal technical contributions and leading high-performance Research and Advanced Technology organizations of up to 160 people, planning and executing applied research agenda and moving results to standards, components, operational systems and tools.  He has strong personal expertise in network protocols and controls for wireless and wireline networks, Internet Architecture, Voice over IP, Multi-Media over IP, network routing and restoration, and information security.  He has over125 papers and over 45 patents.  He participated in many Advisory Panels for universities and Government.  He has also worked as expert witness in patent litigation cases and as an expert in patent portfolio evaluation.
