This expert witness is a Design Engineering and Product Development professional with extensive expertise in the areas of invention, design, development, engineering and manufacturing of hard goods, consumer products, toys, medical devices, gear trains and mechanisms, government and industrial products.  His expertise successfully lends itself to projects that have difficult or conflicting design requirements, especially where the project requires the development or invention of new mechanisms or gear trains.

In cases where the project is an outgrowth of an existing item, he reduces part count, improves reliability, and adds functionality to products by rethinking existing mechanisms and/or developing new kinematic solutions.  He has an excellent understanding of patents from a design and engineering perspective; he is also the inventor or co-inventor of several utility and design patents.
