This M.D. is currently a tenured Professor of Medicine and Pathology and Cell Biology at a major university with experience in basic and clinical research, teaching, academic medicine administration and patient care.  He is internationally recognized as a physician-educator and scientist in the areas of molecular cell biology and liver diseases.  He has also been principal investigator on several clinical trials for patients with liver diseases.  He has experience as an expert witness in the area of liver diseases and has testified in Federal Court in patent litigation.
