This Ph.D has over fifteen-years of academic experience in the study of Computer Science.  He is a recognized expert in the field of programming language design, optimization, and implementation and in the field of software design.  Areas of emphasis in his research include high performance computer architectures, embedded computing systems, and safety-critical systems. He has been the principle investigator on numerous research efforts funded by the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Energy.
