This Ph.D has over 12 years of Biomedical Engineering experience with emphasis on design, safety, management, education and training. He has also founded three medical device companies, is a consulting Assistant Professor of Surgery at Stanford University and an assistant attending trauma surgeon at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.  He is a graduate of the General Surgery program at UCSF, inventing new technologies along the way and accumulating numerous patents in surgical devices, stent coatings, and nanotechnology
