This expert witness has over 40 years of insurance industry experience, including 20 years managing reinsurance actuarial functions.  He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  He has earned MS degrees in both theoretical and applied mathematics, as well as in economic systems.

He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary of PXRE Group, where he managed the Actuarial Department and served as the Appointed Actuary for the companies within the group.  He was responsible for loss reserving functions and pricing model development, along with related corporate modeling.  He began his career at Insurance Services Office and subsequently served as an actuarial manager at Prudential Reinsurance, Signet Star Reinsurance and SCOR Reinsurance Company.
