He and his team were subject matter experts for development of GSM, CDMA and TDMA standards. He was among the first to evolve FPLMTS to UMTS to the 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards in the ITU and TIA. He also led projects on WiFi, LMDS and Wireless Local Loop, and in the IEEE 802.11, 16 and 20 standards. He has over 25 years of hands-on US and international experience in development of new products and services for mobile, Internet applications and more recently in digital advertising. His knowledge of technology includes software and mobile communications systems, and end-to-end mobile network architecture, protocols and applications, digital advertising technologies, mobile communications standards and privacy by design. His team filed over 400 wireless-related patents in a period of five years at Bell Labs. He has over a dozen issued patents and over fifteen applications in the area of digital and mobile advertising. He has worked on product, technology and strategy roadmaps in mobile (CDMA, GSM and 3G), broadband wireless (WiFi and WiMAX) and digital advertising. His leadership experience includes founding a technology start-up, a solo consulting company in the area of broadband wireless; and as general manager and strategist at a broadband wireless start-up; leading a global technology team of over 350 people, with annual budget of over $ 35M at a major communications company; and managing products and teams that generated revenues of over $ 10Bn for the communications company. |
