This expert witness has over 25 years of professional industry experience in systems and networking, with extensive background in wired and wireless communication systems, especially protocol interfaces and supporting architectures.  He has significant experience in developing, evaluating and licensing intellectual property.  He also has substantial experience with telecommunications and networking standards.  He was recently inducted into Tau Beta Pi as an Eminent Engineer.  He has extensive system engineering experience in the areas of factory control, protocol design, switching systems, switching system adjuncts, end-user devices, DSLAMs, IADs, and wireless premises switches and terminals.  He has authored two dozen U.S. patent applications (many of which were filed internationally) and has participated in patent portfolio reviews and subsequent assertions leading to tens of millions of dollars in realized revenues for employers and clients.  He served as lead technical representative for his divisions on the AT and T Intellectual Property Review Board, and the Lucent Technologies Intellectual Property Board of Advisors.
