This Ph.D has over 42 years of technical experience include both military and commercial, research and development programs. He has worked on various projects for the US Government . The latter third of his career has been focused on the commercial communications arena.  His main areas of expertise include antenna theory, design and analysis; and spread spectrum, radio communication system, design, simulation and development. He also has extensive hands-on experience with communication system integration and testing; as well as follow-on, product manufacturing.

He holds over 2 dozen patents in several technical fields, including spread spectrum and ultra wide band communication circuits and systems, antennas, RF measurement and analysis technology, and microwave tubes.  He is well-published in these areas of expertise.
