This Ph.D. is an accomplished scientist, researcher, executive, professor, and writer.  As International Vice President of Cancer Research and Associate Division Director of Experimental Therapy at two major pharmaceutical corporations, he worked closely with all branches of drug development, including toxicology, clinical research, clinical pharmacology, marketing, regulatory, patents, analytical chemistry, process chemistry, and pharmaceutical formulations.  He has also had many interactions with the FDA to advance the development of drug candidates.

As a consultant, he continues to have a broad-based interest in many therapeutic areas, including agents to treat cancer, viral and other infections, heart disease, depression, and pharmacodynamic disorders.  He has written and edited many reports and documents for drug filings, patents, and expert witness litigation; he is also a named inventor on numerous patents.  He has authored and co-authored over 100 preclinical and clinical research articles for scientific journals.  He was the Research Representative on a committee to evaluate and implement scientific writing courses at a major pharmaceutical corporation.  He also enjoys non-technical writing and web site design.

This Ph.D. is a highly experienced and credible expert witness and legal consultant.  Most of his matters have involved cancer drug development issues and patent challenges for anti-cancer and antiviral agents.
