Professional Summary: This expert witness has over 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. His work experience has covered a broad range of disciplines including the development of requirements and standards for digital (VoIP) and analog telephone equipment and network systems and interfaces, developing and operating telecommunications testing laboratories, product design consulting, design and development of testing systems including hardware and software development, expert consulting and witnessing for patent litigation, development of intellectual property and filing of patents, software architectures and code development, hardware architectures and development, and the development and delivery of telecommunications training seminars (US and internationally). He is currently the president of a company that provides consulting and testing services for the US telephone service providers and also for many internationally-based telecommunications product manufacturers. He has extensive experience working with multi-national engineering teams with first-hand and hands-on experience in the telecommunications product development process from design conception, software and hardware prototyping, design testing, through final production and quality assurance. He is the named inventor for patents issued while at Bellcore and at AST. He is the author of many Bellcore requirements and recommendations documents and the prime contributor to many Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA) standards (ANSI/TIA). He is currently the vice-chairman of the TIA TR-41.3 sub-committee for Analog and Digital Wireline Telephones after serving as the chairman for TR-41.3 for seven years. |
