This Ph.D. has over 30 years of experience in Research and Development, and licensing of biomedical devices with a significant publication and patent history.  Having initiated the launch of significant new medical products, he expanded into clinical instruction for new medical products.  He has consulted with both start-ups and established companies in biomedical engineering on both technology and developmental issues for new product development.

This Ph.D.'s current research interests focus on teaching strategies, and guiding teams of students on product development teams in Cornell University's Master of Engineering Program. The teams work for a wide range of clients, and learn to approach biomedical engineering as a system involving clinical, patient, and technical issues leading to novel solutions of these problems.
