This Ph.D has been a professor of biochemistry at a major University for over 30 years, during which time he has maintained a vibrant research program, published over 40 papers, nine book chapters and three books.  His expertise centers in the area of nucleic acid biochemistry, both DNA and RNA.  He has extensive experience at the national level with both the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health have provided him with a breadth of scientific understanding.  He has coupled this with a law degree and has served as an expert witness on many occasions.  His experience in the laboratory and breadth of scientific knowledge, ranging from physics to molecular biology, give him a broad scientific background and extensive expertise.
