This expert witness has more than 23 years of experience in coastal and ocean engineering and is an expert in the design and remediation of coastal and harbor structures.  Over the last 27 years, he has been actively involved in analyzing existing coastal structures, such as piers, docks, bulkheads, and breakwaters, then either rehabilitating them to accommodate higher loading capacity or returning them to their original design capacity.  He has extensive experience in all phases of planning, design, and construction management, and has a strong practical and theoretical background which enhances his expertise in coastal and ocean engineering.
