This expert witness has over 25 years experience developing communication systems, including 13 years at Stanford Telecom as an engineering director, and director positions at Texas Instruments and Hyundai.  Experience includes development of satellite communication ground stations for the government, DVB-S integrated circuits for consumer products in Asia. Most recently, he has worked with a number of start-ups developing communication products ranging from RFID to sensor networks.

His experience helps him to recognize, isolate and correct problems which occur during the development process, given the high cost of ASIC fabrication, he prefers to implement an FPGA verification platform whenever possible to enable real time evaluation of the digital/RF interface, and to allow software development to proceed prior to first working Silicon.
